Overview

We are seeking a Part Time Accommodation Assistant to join the team at the Keadeen Hotel.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Room Servicing: Clean and prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms daily to hotel standards; change bed linens, make beds, vacuum floors, dust surfaces, and replenish amenities; report maintenance issues, missing items, or damage to the supervisor promptly; handle guest belongings with care and respect privacy at all times.
  • Public Areas & Hygiene: Clean and maintain public areas including hallways, staircases, lifts, and guest lounges; ensure all areas are clean, safe, and well-presented throughout the day.
  • Linen & Supplies: Manage linen trolley and ensure stock of towels, linen, and guest supplies; report low stock levels and request replenishments as needed; assist in laundry duties when required (collecting, sorting, or folding linen).
  • Guest Interaction & Support: Greet guests courteously and respond to requests or queries in a helpful manner; inform the appropriate department of any guest complaints or feedback.
  • Compliance & Safety: Follow all health and safety, hygiene, and fire safety policies; use cleaning materials and equipment in accordance with training and company guidelines; wear the correct uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
  • General: Attend departmental briefings and training sessions as required; work as part of a team to meet daily targets and support colleagues; carry out any other reasonable duties requested by management.
Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment
  • High standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
  • Flexible to work midweek, weekends, and public holidays
  • Shift-based role including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Uniform and training provided
