Senior Project Engineer – Pharma/Industrial Projects

Location: Longford (accommodation available if required)

Salary: DOE, circa €75,000 – €85,000 + vehicle

Our client is a leading international construction specialist delivering landmark projects across a range of sectors. With a reputation for excellence, innovation, and collaboration, they are committed to delivering high-quality projects that exceed expectations.

They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Engineerto join their team and lead the delivery of complex pharma and industrial projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards, from early design through to final fit-out, while managing client relationships and ensuring full compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all engineering aspects of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with design specifications, project schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate design development and ensure integration of all disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations) and all quality assurance processes.
  • Oversee fit-out works, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to client requirements.
  • Liaise directly with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain effective communication and foster strong relationships.
  • Drive quality standards and ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
  • Provide technical support, guidance, and mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale pharma and/or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of BCAR and quality management systems.
  • Experience in design coordination and fit-out delivery.
  • Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships professionally and effectively.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Full, clean driver's licence.
