Purpose:

Responsible for Paralegal support to the global Transactional Legal Team.

Key Result Areas:Support of Transactional Team
  • Prepare closing checklists and initial drafts of closing deliverables.
  • Assist in drafting, finalizing, and gathering closing conditions precedent and conditions subsequent.
  • Coordinate due diligence activities including assembly and production of documents for leases, aircraft sale and financing transactions, and liquidation claims.
  • Manage the exchange of closing deliverables with counterparties and/or their counsel, follow-on task management during lease and loan terms.
  • Liaise with internal and external partners to coordinate and arrange closing (and any other required) signatures.
  • Letters of credit management.
  • Assist with billing matters.
  • Update and maintain databases of precedents, shared documents, and advice.
  • Review and update local counsel and other directories.
  • Oversee assembly and collection of closing bibles and the retention and storage of original documents.
Coordination of the Transactional Team and Projects
  • Compile transactional attorney team metrics for CLO.
  • Compile and collate trackers for the legal team.
  • Assist in ensuring consistency on internal processes and alignment with other business functions.
  • Assist with the review and disposal of historical documents.
  • Work on internal and external projects as required and assigned from time to time.
Skills & Experience:
  • Relevant bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline.
  • 3+ years' work experience in transaction administration or contract management, in-house or with a law firm.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to work proactively, use initiative, and be self-motivated.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard office hours as needed.
  • Professional demeanor, excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent proof-reading and researching skills.
  • Efficient and highly organized.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage projects.
  • Interest in aircraft leasing is a plus.
