Excellent opportunity for a Snr Engineering Leader to join an SLT with a biologics company in the Northwest of Ireland. The role reports to the site director and will be responsible for managing a team of engineers in technical and manufacturing engineering. A proven people manager in Biologics and Pharma would be ideal.

Overview of your responsibilities:

  1. Lead Engineering team across Maintenance, Utilities, Validation, Automation, BMS, and Capital Projects

  2. Ensure equipment reliability through maintenance, issue resolution, and CAPA

  3. Oversee all site capital projects

  4. Ensure compliance with EU GMP, EHS, and corporate standards

  5. Maintain validation of critical equipment and utilities

  6. Support facility and equipment commissioning and validation

  7. Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance strategy

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:

  1. Degree in Engineering or related field

  2. 10+ years in pharma/biotech; 5+ in leadership

  3. GMP experience; sterility/vaccines preferred

  4. Expertise in compliance, calibration, automation, and utilities

  5. Proficient with CMMS (e.g. eMaint) and project tools
