What you will do- Manage a small team, or function as a single incumbent with management responsibilities for a function.
- Responsible for the overall management of the tax liabilities, both directly and in connection with transactions with clients, including the related compliance, financial reporting, planning and controversy processes.
- Assist in determining and compiling information required to satisfy income tax filing and related requirements at all levels of jurisdiction.
- May participate in managing payments to tax authorities in compliance with specific tax regulations.
- Integrate expertise and industry knowledge within a defined area.
- Advise on standards around which others will operate.
- Coordinate with colleagues in other areas and occasionally external customers, using communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence.
- Ensure alignment of processes with sub-function integration requirements.
- Operations experience, particularly FATCA, US Tax, CRS.
- Demonstrated experience as a Subject Matter Expert within an operations environment or transferable FATCA/DTT knowledge.
- Experience organizing and assigning workload in an operations environment, acting as a point of contact for clients and working on cross-functional projects and implementations.
- Ability to perform reviews of written tax policy and procedures, and to research and respond to inquiries from operational areas.
- Manage TIR Service Delivery / Engagement model with client constituency and other key stakeholders.
- Lead a team that reviews, validates and processes W-8 and W-9 tax forms and related documentation according to IRS Chapter 3, Chapter 61 and FATCA regulations.
- Support Technology projects from a technical tax perspective.
- Develop and implement Go-To processes and controls to ensure consistent compliance with Information Reporting and FATCA requirements.
