At Independent Search Solutions Ltd we currently have a position for an Orthopaedic Surgical Nurse to move into a Clinical Support role.

We need you to be based in Dublin or within commuting distance as this position will mainly see you meeting with and dealing with the Orthopaedic Surgeons in both the Private and Public Hospitals in the capital. Some travel to rest of Leinster may be required from time to time.

Full training will be supplied on all my clients Surgical Devices, but you must have a min. of 2 Years previous experience working in Surgery (Scrub Nurse) or Hospital based Physiotherapy where you have regular dealings with the Ortho Surgeons - APPLY TODAY

Job Title: Orthopaedic Product Specialist & Clinical Support

Territory: Private and Public Hospitals in Dublin / Leinster

Package:

  • €45k - €55k Basic (Dependent on Experience & Open to Negotiation)
  • Company Car (Fuel Card, Tolls, Insurance, Maintenance)
  • Pension (5%)

Role:

The Product Specialist will achieve key performance indicators on Product Demonstration and Clinical Support, promoting a range of Surgical Devices to Key Opinion Leaders and Large Hospital Groups across Territory. There will be 12 weeks in-hospital observational training, where you will be shadowing another experienced Territory Manager who will be clinically supporting cases.

Duties:

  • Provide customers with technical advice and appropriate training on the safe and effective use of the company's products and surgical techniques, primarily in a theatre setting
  • Engage with both existing and new surgeons to develop robust sales opportunity pipeline and advise appropriate sales leads
  • Support customers with activities relating to the management of the company's stock and equipment including consignment inventory, loan kits, ordering patterns
  • Maintain up-to-date records of customer activity on the company's CRM system, including information on customer usage, purchasing protocols and relevant competitor activity, working jointly with the appropriate Territory Manager/Sales Lead
  • In addition to the customer facing activity, the Clinical Specialist will also support the development of product & procedure knowledge with the sales team. This may be teaching in a theatre setting, classroom teaching, or involvement in our Induction Training Programme

Experience:

  • 2-5 Years Surgical / Theatre experience (Scrub Nurse)
  • Full Clean Driving License
  • Specific experience in Surgical Orthopaedics essential
  • I am also opened to considering Hospital based Physiotherapists
