About the Role:
The successful candidates will join a dynamic team working on a variety of projects, including large-scale housing developments, mixed-use urban regeneration strategies, infrastructure projects, masterplans, statutory Development Plans and Local Area Plans, as well as commercial, renewable energy, industrial, and data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and lodgement of planning applications, appeals, and submissions.
• Work on a diverse range of projects, including commercial, industrial, strategic infrastructure, renewable energy, and large-scale housing developments.
• Contribute to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIARs) where applicable.
• Manage small to medium-sized projects, ensuring they meet client objectives and are delivered on time and to budget.
• Engage in statutory submissions and consultations, providing input to Development Plans and Local Area Plans.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to drive results and achieve successful outcomes.

Required Experience:

• An accredited post-graduate degree in Planning (e.g., from the Irish Planning Institute or the Royal Town Planning Institute) or equivalent.
• Membership with the Irish Planning Institute and/or the Royal Town Planning Institute.
• Experience in preparing planning applications, managing projects, and working on complex developments.
• Knowledge of commercial and industrial projects, strategic infrastructure development, renewable energy projects, and contributing to EIARs.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and client expectations.

Skills:

• Strong report writing skills, with experience in drafting planning reports, appeals, and submissions.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Commercially astute with a process-driven approach focused on achieving results.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
• A high level of self-motivation and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
