Position Details
  • Job type: Full-time
  • Location: Sligo, Finisklin (partial remote work may be considered)
  • Working schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Education: Advanced/Higher Certificate (preferred)
  • Salary: will be based on experience and qualifications
  • Starting date: as soon as possible
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales & Reservations teams
  • Maintain the purchase ledger
  • Process bank transactions in the accounts system
  • Prepare payment runs via online banking
  • Maintain and reconcile bank accounts
  • Post client receipts in our CRM and accounting software (Xero)
  • Handle transactions in multiple currencies (EUR and GBP)
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the tourism industry
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong organisational, numerical, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Working knowledge of Xero (not essential) and ability to quickly learn in-house systems
  • Accounting Technician qualification is an advantage but not essential
  • Fluency in English; French is a plus, but not required
