Job Description
Our valued Occupational Therapist will in conjunction with the wider multi-disciplinary team have the opportunity to support the implementation of Our Shared Ambition within a positive and fulfilling work environment.

Role Purpose
The Occupational Therapy Manager will lead a dedicated team who are committed to delivering high quality Occupational Therapy Services to people accessing Stewarts Care. The Occupational Therapy Manager will provide strategic and clinical leadership across a range of OT specialisms. The Occupational Therapy Manager will manage, plan and deliver Occupational Therapy Services within Stewarts Care ensuring a high-quality person-centred service in line with best practice.

The Person

• Be registered as an Occupational Therapist by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
• Have a minimum of five years full-time, post qualification clinical experience.
• Maintain annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
• Evidence of participation in continued professional development.
• Holds a full clean driving license and access to a car.
• Demonstrates competence and capability of undertaking the duties attached to the office.
• Previous health service management experience.
• Experience working within the disability sector is an advantage.
• Have a working knowledge of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards as they apply to the role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience of service evaluation and planning.
• Evidence of the ability to achieve results through effective collaboration in a complex environment.
