One of Galway's trendiest Hotels, NOX are looking for a Receptionist to join our team.

We require previous Front of House experience in a three of four star hotel. Knowledge of Hotel Operating system such as Hotsoft is essential. The successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, perfect English and enjoy all aspects of guest services.

Job Description

Reporting to the hotel's Front Office Manager you will be a professional and polished individual with excellent communication and presentation skills. The successful candidate will have at least 1 – 2 years hotel Reception experience. You will demonstrate excellent customer service as well as the initiative required to multi task in this busy environment.

Requirements

  • Experienced in working at the Hotel Front Desk
  • A commitment to offering exceptional service and standards.
  • Proficient in Hotsoft or similar reservation system
  • Ability to work variety of shifts including midweek and weekend
  • Applicants must have fluent English and excellent communication skills and an ability to work well in a team
  • environment and on own initiative is essential

Job Description

  • To carry out all Reception duties, working as part of the Front Office Team (reception and reservations)
  • To ensure complete guest satisfaction at all times through the prompt handling of guest queries in a friendly and efficient manner
  • To answer the switchboard as per our company standard operating procedures
  • Facilitate efficient and effective communication between departments
  • Abide by the policies and procedures set out by the company
  • To ensure a first class service for our guests at all times
  • To assist in any other duties as set out by management
  • To ensure cash handling and billing procedures are complied with at all times
  • To be flexible with regard to working hours in order to handle any unexpected requirements
  • To play a vital role in ensuring all guests receive a genuine NOX experience
