Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for Social Care Workers located in Dublin, Carlow and Kildare. The Social Care Worker will be responsible for providing person-centred care and support to individuals in accordance with care plans. Foster a positive and supportive environment for clients, promoting independence and well-being. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress.
The role also involves maintaining accurate reports and records, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience in residential and community-based care
- Ability to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and report-writing skills
- Empathy, compassion, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Qualifications such as a degree in Social Care, Nursing, or a related field are beneficial
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
