OverviewWe are currently looking to recruit a Leinster based Field Engineer for the IMS Engineering department. Location primarily in Dublin, but covering the island of Ireland, with projects also in the UK and Europe. The applicant will be joining a highly skilled, diligent, and initiative-focused team of engineers who take pride in every aspect of their work, and whose values represent the core principles of IMS connect. The successful candidate will have opportunities to grow and learn, with autonomy to voice opinions and suggest operational improvements. The role involves responsibilities as a field engineer and administrative tasks to strengthen our service engineering presence across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. Immediate ability to travel across these regions is essential.
Roles And Responsibilities- Onsite installation of IMS connect products including Wi-Fi, IPTV, AV, Digital Signage, IP Telephony, Casting, Energy Management.
- Configuration support onsite and in IMS connect offices, collaborating with our NOC department for Irish and international project deployments.
- Support and maintenance of IMS connect systems across client properties, responding within SLAs.
- Collaborate with peers in surveying, designing, and delivering network installations.
- Manage stock and equipment in coordination with procurement.
- Logistics management for project deliveries.
- Utilize CRM, documentation, and communication platforms effectively.
- Represent IMS connect professionally, respecting all stakeholders.
- At least 2 years' experience in electrical, energy, security, or networking sectors.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and planning skills.
- Attention to detail and high standards of work quality.
- Customer service orientation.
- Full clean driving license.
- Solas Safepass or similar CSCS card.
- Willingness and ability to travel across Ireland and internationally immediately.
- Manual handling and working at heights certification (training provided).
- Experience with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
- Experience with CRM ticketing platforms.
- Background in electrical systems supporting Energy Management Solutions.
The role is based in Dublin/Leinster, with flexibility to travel across Ireland, UK, and EU.
