We have an exciting new position as SeniorDuty Manager with us here at Cork's Vienna Woods Hotel.
*You will be reporting directly to the General Manager, and help oversee the running of the hotel which includes 48 bedrooms and 8 holiday villas, our Restaurant, Bistro, Bar and busy function room.
Your main shifts will be predominantly 2 to 3 evening shifts each weekend.
The successful candidate must have previous experience in Food and Beverage in a high volume 4* hotel.
This position will suit a customer-focused individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to support & lead a team.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone wishing to progress his or her career within the 4* Hotel market.
This is an interesting and varied role taking in all aspects of the food and beverage function of the business and will especially suit a person who excels in a multi-tasking environment.
The Candidate:
- Previous Duty Management experience in a high volume 4* or 5* property
- Have the ability to manage a large and demanding Hotel operation on a daily basis to include: Conferencing, Weddings, Bar and Restaurant
- Ensure quality and standards are met consistently.
- Anticipate guest needs, and proactively manage their expectations.
- Assist with the management of the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest service from each department.
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
- Have full knowledge of the hotel and all departments.
