Role Overview: The Graduate Trainee Treasury Dealer will join the Treasury Risk Solutions Team at Investec, focusing on delivering exceptional service to clients for their foreign exchange, commodity, and interest rate risk management needs. This role is crucial for converting, embedding, and retaining clients, while collaborating with various teams to support client growth.

Team Description: Join an ambitious, diverse, and dynamic team that challenges conventional approaches to risk management for corporate clients. The Treasury Risk Solutions Team aims to provide innovative financing and debt advisory solutions, focusing on mid-sized companies. As part of Investec Europe, you will have access to resources for training and development, enabling you to achieve your potential.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop strong relationships with clients while delivering exceptional service in FX, commodities, and interest rate risk management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support client growth and retention.
  • Monitor and communicate movements in foreign exchange markets.
  • Assist in the execution of strategic marketing initiatives to attract new clients.
What are we looking for in you?
  • Experience in a team environment.
  • Strong academic background with a 3rd level qualification (2.1 honours and/or Master's).
  • Ability to understand and communicate movements in foreign exchange markets.
  • Relevant work experience commensurate with academic studies.
  • A business background is helpful but not essential.
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
