We are working with the head of FS tax to help hire a Financial Services Tax Directors and Associate Directors to join their rapidly growing financial services tax team.

Our client is a leading firm in Ireland with a global network of over 62,000 people and close ties with the US firm. They have a presence in over 130 countries around the world and operate from 10 offices across Ireland, the Isle of Man, Gibraltar, and Bermuda.

The successful candidate will be responsible for presenting solutions to increasingly complex technical issues, demonstrating sufficient technical knowledge of financial services tax, and managing a team in performing assignments on a day-to-day basis.

This role offers excellent growth opportunities for ambitious and driven individuals to progress within the team. The competitive remuneration package includes career progression potential to Partner.

Main responsibilities include providing financial services tax services to clients in various sectors such as asset management, banking, securitisation, aviation finance and leasing, insurance, and fintech.

Key tasks involve supporting clients' transactions, compliance obligations, and assessing their tax strategies. The ideal candidate must manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, prioritization, and billings.

In addition to project work, the successful candidate will contribute to the financial services tax team's growth and development by proactively managing existing clients and identifying potential opportunities for new client work.

Requirements

• ATT/ACA/ACCA or CTA qualified
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in financial services tax department
• Strong technical knowledge and proven ability to identify opportunities for clients and grow the financial services tax offering
• Capable of working independently and building trusted relationships with clients and the team
• Proven business development skills and strong interpersonal skills
