Location: Johnstown Castle Estate, Museum & Gardens, Wexford

Contract: Temporary / Seasonal (November - December 2025)

Hours: Part-time, evenings and weekends.

Pay: Minimum Wage

This year at Johnstown Castle Estate, Museum & Gardens, experience the magic of Christmas in a place like no other. Nestled within centuries of history, our fairy-tale castle becomes a place of wonder, with festive magic around every corner. We are now seeking a warm, engaging, and characterful Mrs. Claus to join Santa and help make unforgettable memories for our visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Greet families with warmth, kindness, and festive cheer
  • Support Santa in creating magical interactions with children
  • Tell stories, encourage festive fun, and help keep the Christmas spirit alive
  • Assist with crowd and queue management when needed
  • Stay in character at all times and maintain a high standard of costume presentation
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure every visitor leaves with a smile
About You
  • Warm, friendly, and confident engaging with children and families.
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to bring calm to a busy, festive environment.
  • Comfortable performing in character and embracing the magic of the season.
  • A strong communicator, with patience and a genuine love for working with people.
  • Previous experience in performance, customer service, or events is desirable but not essential.
