I am recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Director with a specialization in Forensic Psychiatry.

Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist - Clinical Director
Location: Dublin - Remote

About the role:

  • Work closely with the Clinical Directors of ID and MH Services and all Consultant Psychiatrist colleagues.
  • Oversee and implement measures to meet regulatory standards and ensure compliance with the Mental Health Commission.
  • Provide cover for Clinical Directors & Consultant colleagues' periods of leave as necessary.
  • Take clinical responsibility for patients residing in community-based and ID residences and centres.
  • Offer a psychiatric perspective to the multidisciplinary team regarding the assessment, formulation, and treatment of individuals with complex needs and forensic risks across both ID and MH services.
  • Contribute to clinical governance for the services provided at both Approved Centres when covering annual leave and participate in developing service strategy as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid IMC specialist registration in psychiatry or be eligible for registration.
  • Right to work in Ireland. Work permits may be available for suitably qualified doctors.

What's on offer:

  • Outstanding salary of €235,000 to €265,000 depending on experience.
  • Permanent contract.
  • Hybrid model of working.
