Company Opportunity: Experienced BookkeeperAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced bookkeeper to join a busy architectural firm based in Dublin City Centre. This role is part-time, offering either 3 full days or 4 half-day working weeks. The position also provides hybrid working and is an excellent opportunity to work independently in a busy environment.
Responsibilities include:- Preparing financial statements for trial balance
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow management
- Billing and credit control
- Payroll processing and reporting, including management of staff expenses
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Overseeing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Liaising with external auditors for year-end accounts
- Preparing monthly VAT returns
- Other ad-hoc finance and insurance-related duties as required
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Part-qualified or studying towards a professional qualification such as ATI or ACCA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to review data accurately and report on key metrics to both finance and non-finance senior management
- Data-driven and analytically minded
