The Opportunity

HV Site Supervisor We are seeking an experienced to join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team delivering large-scale engineering projects across Ireland. This permanent role offers a portfolio of works stretching over the next 5+ years and is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in high-voltage electrical engineering.

What You'll Do

As HV Site Supervisor, you will support the Site Manager in coordinating all site activities, with particular responsibility for high-voltage electrical works.

You will:

  • Lead and coordinate teams of HV electrical professionals to deliver installation, testing, and commissioning activities safely and efficiently.
  • Track and record daily site progress and activities.
  • Ensure all HV works meet quality standards, programme deadlines, and budget requirements.
  • Enforce strict HV safety standards, including permits-to-work, isolation procedures, and safe switching operations.
  • Supervise installation of HV switchgear, transformers, cabling, and protection/control systems.
  • Liaise with commissioning teams, clients, and network operators during energisation activities.
  • Oversee specialist HV subcontractors and integrate their work into the broader project.
About You
  • Senior Trades qualification or equivalent, with 5+ years' hands-on experience in high-voltage systems.
  • Proven expertise with HV equipment such as switchgear, transformers, and protection/control systems.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret HV schematics, protection schemes, and electrical drawings.
  • Experience in HV testing and commissioning processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership in HV environments, guiding teams to deliver results safely and on time.
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
  • Highly organised, decisive, and able to perform under pressure.
