Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance EHS management systems aligned with regulatory and internal standards
  • Deliver training programmes and lead site inductions on EHS topics
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and incident investigations
  • Lead emergency response planning and preparedness
  • Manage site compliance with Irish EHS legislation (HSA, EPA, Local Councils)
  • Prepare reports and EHS performance metrics for internal/external stakeholders
  • Evaluate EHS risks related to plant, process, and equipment changes
  • Implement waste management and environmental monitoring systems
  • Lead and support EHS initiatives and projects at site/regional level
  • Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
  • NFQ Level 8 or above in EHS, Engineering, or Science discipline
  • 6+ years' EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid understanding of Irish EHS legislation and regulator interaction (HSA, EPA)
  • Proven success in implementing EHS systems and compliance processes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Relevant EHS certifications or professional body affiliations (preferred)
