Join a growing specialist tax consultancy providing high-quality advisory services to private clients and owner-managed businesses. This role offers exposure to complex Irish tax planning work, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to work closely with a recognised tax industry leader.
Our client is a specialist Irish tax advisory firm providing bespoke taxation advice to private clients, entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses.
As a growing consultancy focused exclusively on advisory work, the firm offers an opportunity to work on complex and interesting tax matters without the compliance-heavy workload often associated with larger practices.
Due to continued growth and an expanding client portfolio, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Tax Advisor / Senior Tax Advisor to join the team.
Description
Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of Irish tax advisory assignments, with a particular focus on private clients and owner-managed businesses.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing Irish tax advisory services to private clients, entrepreneurs and business owners
- Advising on Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and Capital Acquisitions Tax (CAT) matters
- Supporting succession and estate planning assignments
- Advising owner-managed businesses on a variety of tax planning opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Researching complex tax issues and preparing technical advice
- Assisting with tax-efficient restructuring and transaction-related projects
- Working collaboratively with clients and professional advisers to deliver practical commercial solutions
Profile
The successful candidate is likely to possess:
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience
- Strong Irish domestic taxation knowledge
- Experience gained within a professional services environment
- Exposure to private client taxation, personal tax or tax advisory services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical and analytical abilities
- A client-focused and commercially minded approach
