Finishing Foreman, Skerries

We are seeking a Finishing Foreman for our residential development site in Skerries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site finishing works including plastering, painting, flooring, joinery, ceilings, and fixtures. The successful candidate will ensure that all finishing works are completed to the highest quality standards, on schedule, and in full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades and subcontractors on-site.
- Ensure that finishing work meets project specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Monitor progress and productivity; identify and resolve issues that may cause delays or subpar quality.
- Conduct daily site inspections and quality checks.
- Ensure work is carried out safely in accordance with health & safety regulations.
- Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and other stakeholders to report progress and resolve site issues.
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Manage materials, tools, and resources for finishing works.
- Ensure the site is clean, secure, and professionally presented throughout the finishing phase.
- Manage inspections, snag lists and final handover.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on residential or mixed-use projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
- Valid Safe pass and relevant tickets (e.g. CSCS, manual handling).
