We are excited to be working with one of the world's largest insurance and assistance companies who are looking to hire an Actuarial Analyst – Pricing. The ideal applicant for this position will be a Part Qualified Actuary with 2-3 years' experience in pricing or product development. The company offers a hybrid working model and the opportunity to develop their skills working on a wide variety of projects. Open to considering candidates from all backgrounds.
About the Actuarial Analyst – Pricing RoleDuties for this position include (but are not limited to):
- Design and enhance product and pricing strategies that effectively address internal requirements while also meeting external market expectations.
- Maintain a strong compliance framework by ensuring that appropriate controls, policies, and documentation are in place to meet all legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Support the creation of strategic business case analyses to understand and achieve a favourable combination of growth and profitability.
- Offer technical pricing expertise and analysis for critical business initiatives.
The role would suit a Part Qualified Actuary with 2-3 years industry experience. Applicants must ideally have experience of the following:
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in Pricing or Product development is advantageous.
- Strong experience of Excel, SQL, Python and Power BI.
- Skilled communicator with the capacity to bridge the gap between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and time management skills.
