Overview

We\'re currently recruiting a dedicated Deli Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group Ireland on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days per week.

Here\'s what you need to know before applying:

Responsibilities
  • Preparing and presenting hot and cold deli items, sandwiches, salads, and snacks.
  • Setting up and maintaining the deli counter, ensuring it is clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
  • Serving customers efficiently and with a friendly, professional manner.
  • Handling individual customer requests with a can-do attitude and aiming to exceed expectations.
  • Following food hygiene, allergen, and Health & Safety guidelines in line with provided training.
  • Ensuring correct storage and rotation of food items and equipment.
  • Assisting colleagues as required to ensure smooth running of the operation.
Qualifications
  • Positive "can do" attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good people skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A good level of spoken English.
  • Previous experience in a deli, catering, or customer service role would be an advantage, but is not essential.
