Overview
My client, a fast-growing technology company is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join their core platform team. This is a critical role supporting the future of unified IT management. You'll be instrumental in building and maintaining modern CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of a major SaaS product.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep
- Manage and monitor Azure cloud services, including App Services, Cosmos DB, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Application Gateway
- Ensure operational reliability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response processes
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline deployment and release cycles
- Implement security best practices, managing secrets and identity access using Azure Key Vault
- Continuously improve automation, deployment velocity, and system resilience
- 5+ years' experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architecture
- Proficient in GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or similar)
- Proficient in scripting/automation using Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (AKS/Kubernetes a plus)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana)
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
