The South-East region is a hub for members across all sectors of engineering and is based in Carlow, Kilkenny, South Tipperary, Waterford, and Wexford. It represents various industry sectors, including third-level education, local authorities, local government, contractors, companies, and researchers. The region provides CPD and social networking events for engineers of all grades and disciplines.

Some of the events previously held by the South East region include:

  • Technical presentations on topics like oil spills, water and wastewater, and the design and development of medical devices
  • Social events such as table quizzes
  • EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) updates
