We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician/Manufacturing Technologist to provide technical support to our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for fault finding, inspections, and reactive maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing equipment to identify potential issues and implement proactive maintenance measures
  • Perform fault finding and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions
  • Carry out reactive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is returned to operational status as quickly as possible
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including equipment manuals and maintenance records
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities

Requirements
  • Apprenticeship or degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing)
  • Experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends
