This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Mercer's largest and most rapidly-growing business areas - Investment Solutions. Mercer's Investment Solutions (IS) provides sophisticated implementation and investment services to clients. The business manages approximately $500bn of client assets globally, with about $190bn invested on behalf of international investors. Our client base primarily consists of institutional clients, including DB/DC Pension Schemes, and is expanding into new segments such as Insurance & Wealth Management.

Mercer's fund range was launched in Europe in September 2006 and includes Irish-domiciled funds across five legal structures. These funds support Mercer's wider investment and risk management solutions for the institutional market. The IS business has experienced significant growth and anticipates continued demand for its investment solutions.

The Data Solutions Team, within Operations, is responsible for data strategy and aligning initiatives with business objectives. This involves coordinating with stakeholders including Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance, Technology, and third-party providers. The role requires experience in project management, investment workflows, and data needs, reporting to the Global Investment Data and Performance Solutions Leader. The ideal candidate will have a background in Funds/Asset Management, with strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.

• Strategy Definition & Leadership: Collaborate with Investment Teams to understand requirements, implement tailored solutions, and lead data strategy execution by rolling out new platforms and solutions.
• Roadmap, Delivery & Measurement: Develop a roadmap for investment solutions capabilities, prioritize activities, and define metrics to monitor progress.
• Collaboration and Culture: Build strong partnerships, promote a data-driven culture, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Identify opportunities for data and workflow innovation and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations regarding privacy, security, and data usage.

• 8+ years in Asset Management, with direct experience working with investment teams and workflows.
• Knowledge of data ecosystems in Asset and Wealth Management, including risk analytics, performance attribution, etc.
• Results-oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience across asset classes such as equities, fixed income, hedge funds, private markets, and derivatives.
• Familiarity with vendors and technologies related to investment and data activities.

• Proven track record of collaborating with Investment Teams to develop innovative solutions.
• Experience with strategic planning and roadmaps, ideally on a global scale.
• Certifications like CFA and CAIA are a plus.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as cloud, automation, AI/ML.
