Barden have been engaged by a high-growth tech start up with offices around the globe. They are seeking an ambitious individual to join a well-established finance function on a permanent basis as Financial Controller. This is a great opportunity to work with a high performing, collaborative global finance team, made up of friendly, self-driven achievers seeking to grow their career in a scaling organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing global finance and accounting operations, including monthly close, consolidation, tax compliance, treasury, and audits.
- Managing a team of 3 self starters.
- Key focuses are optimizing processes, leveraging technology, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic initiatives. This role is critical to supporting the evolution of the function, transforming our processes from manual activities to end-to-end automation and enabling the company to grow and scale.
About the person:
- Qualified Accountant with 6+ years' experience managing teams working in fast growing finance/accounting leadership role.
- Experience in high-growth start-ups; a strong understanding of multiple business segments and their accounting and metrics.
- A dynamic, self-driven individual capable of acting as a collaborator and advisor.
- Goal-focused, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and produce high-quality work in a demanding, rapid-paced setting.
