Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to support the implementation and operationalisation of a complex PMO initiative. This role involves balancing both technical software deliverables and business change activities within a hybrid environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating between technical teams managing software and configuration layers, and business super-users driving operational adoption. This is a unique opportunity to manage delivery in a complex environment where legacy software architecture and structured change intersect with modern business operations.

The role requires strong orchestration skills, the ability to bring together diverse stakeholders, and a focus on driving delivery in both structured (Waterfall) and adaptive (Agile-influenced) contexts.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of software and business change workstreams.
Coordinate activities across technical and business groups, ensuring effective collaboration between IT, configuration specialists, and operational stakeholders.
Maintain and oversee project plans, risk and issue logs, and status reporting to stakeholders.
Balance delivery using Waterfall methodologies for legacy software development alongside business-led operational adoption.
Facilitate effective communication between technical and business groups, ensuring both are aligned on deliverables and timelines.
Lead governance and reporting activities, including updates to senior stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and ensure timely escalation of blockers.
Support operational readiness and the smooth handover of configuration ownership to business super-users.

Requirements

Must Have

Proven ability to drive delivery and "get things done."
Strong orchestration and coordination skills across technical and business domains.
Self-driven with excellent communication skills.
Experience working with IT environments, with the ability to understand technical contexts.
Experience delivering projects using Waterfall methodologies.

Nice to Have

Experience with Agile approaches, ideally in mixed-methodology environments.
Prior experience managing both technical and business change initiatives.
