The Role

The primary responsibility is to oversee the coffee shop, ensuring exceptional customer care, operational standards, sales, and profitability while managing costs alongside the store management team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead coffee quality, customer service, and presentation, providing supervision in all areas.
  2. Maintain excellent communication with Senior Management.
  3. Provide fast, friendly, and efficient customer service.
  4. Operate and maintain a 3-group manual/semi-automatic coffee machine.
  5. Ensure high standards in espresso and milk preparation.
  6. Assist with food prep, merchandising, and product control from entry to exit.
  7. Develop and follow a cleaning schedule complying with hygiene standards.
  8. Monitor and implement HACCP standards for food safety and quality.
  9. Manage product orders and control waste.
  10. Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures.
  11. Train and motivate staff, developing their skills.
  12. Plan work schedules for flexibility and productivity.
  13. Handle problems promptly and report to Store Management.
  14. Perform emergency duties as needed for smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with coffee and managing similar operations.
  • Barista skills and knowledge of coffee.
  • Experience with a 3-group machine or similar equipment.
  • Training on HACCP and Food Safety.
  • Excellent English, professional manner, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work 5 days over 7.
