Smartedge's Client is looking for an individual to help with their MuleSoft Product Owner @ Remote UK /EU (Some Travel required)

Key area:

We are seeking a MuleSoft Product Owner to define vision, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role bridges business needs and technical execution, ensuring APIs and integrations deliver measurable business value.

  • Define and own product vision, roadmap, and backlog for MuleSoft-based solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders, architects, and developers to deliver scalable APIs and integrations.
  • Define API strategy, design, and governance, ensuring APIs follow best practices and meet business requirements.
  • Ensure APIs and integrations adhere to design standards, governance, and technical best practices
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize backlog items based on business value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
  • Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Track product performance, adoption, and ROI; drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Hands-on experience managing API development and system integration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of API-led connectivity, RAML, DataWeave, and API management.
  • Hands-on experience with integrations, transformations, and orchestration using MuleSoft.
  • Strong backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to align technology initiatives with business outcomes.
  • Skilled in writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and defining success metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API management, and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)..
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Focused on customer needs with strong understanding of business goals.
