Job Title: Tax Operations Manager – U.S. Tax

Location: Dublin – 5 days onsite

Salary: €90,000 – €100,000 plus bonus and benefits

Our Client

Our client is a global investment firm building out their Tax Operations function in Dublin. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded international team and contribute to the development of a new capability in Ireland.

The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, high-performing environment working on a broad variety of tax workstreams, liaising with both local and global stakeholders. This team is being built from scratch, so the right person will play a key role in shaping the future of this function in Dublin. There is no travel required, and the position is fully office-based in a collaborative team setting.

Who should apply?

We are seeking qualified professionals with the following experience:

  • 3+ years PQE
  • U.S. GAAP tax experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in financial services or asset management is beneficial

Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting to the U.S. Tax Operations leadership team, the successful candidates will be among the first tax professionals on the ground in Dublin. Responsibilities include:

  • Corporate Actions – Monitor and assess tax implications and communicate them to the business
  • Withholding Tax – Prepare/review end-of-period U.S. withholding tax reports
  • Investment Risk – Monitor and report U.S. trade/business income exposure
  • Tax Forms – Review U.S. tax forms (W-9, W-8IMY), FATCA/CRS certifications and registrations
  • Tax Returns – Handle monthly and annual sales/property tax returns, claims and audits
  • Regulatory Filings – Prepare FBAR reports, tax position analyses, and interest deductibility reviews
  • Tax Projects – Support compliance with IRC Section 174 and R&D credit reporting
  • Process Improvements – Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes
