Recruitment Specialist for Mid - Senior level Supply Chain, Operations and Procurement professionals across Ireland

Electro-mechanical design engineer working within a small design team, with the required skill set to carry out the following tasks:

  • Liaise with the sales team and product specialists to design process analyser sampling systems and calibration systems
  • Planning of design activities
  • Produce quotations including technical drawings, bills of materials and costings.
  • Conduct contract reviews prior to converting quotations to orders and ensuring accurate information is available for the build, test and calibration team
  • Communicate with customers throughout order/build process
  • Assist with any queries or problems that occur during the production process
  • Produce technical documentation including installation and operation manuals, hazardous area certification lists and 'as built' drawings
  • Familiarity with CE marking requirements and Directives such as ATEX, Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS

Experience:

  • Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical or similarly regulated markets (food, Biopharma and the like). Pharmaceutical (API) process knowledge is distinctly attractive.
  • Experience in the use of CAD packages (2D and 3D), ideally SolidWorks.
  • Good experience in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Experience of working with/on bills of materials and technical documentation.
  • Experience of working with hazardous area equipment.
  • Good understanding of Instrument and Control systems.
  • Hands on mechanical and electrical experience would be beneficial and preferred.
  • An understanding and experience of using an ERP business system
  • Familiarity with CE marking requirements and Directives such as ATEX, Low Voltage, EMC, and RoHS.

  • Good understanding of electro-mechanical principles and control systems
  • Basic mechanical and electrical skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Good technical writing skills
  • Hard working and enthusiastic, flexible with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines
