My Client, a trusted cleaning supplies company committed to delivering exceptional products and services, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team and contribute to their continued growth and success.
Responsibilities:- Research and identify new business opportunities within designated sectors to drive growth.
- Manage the sales pipeline, including re-engagement of lost customers, to increase conversion velocity.
- Engage with prospects and former customers using Virtual Rooms to enhance sales efficiency.
- Negotiate and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with manufacturers where appropriate to boost business growth and profitability.
- Maximise sales during the first twelve months of new account acquisition, working closely with the Customer Care team.
- Actively forecast new business opportunities to ensure smooth product supply and service delivery.
- Stay informed on industry and sector changes to meet evolving customer needs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the sales process.
- Collaborate with internal teams and management to optimise sales efforts and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Utilise the WHSL performance management system to stay aligned with company, departmental, and personal objectives.
- Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in a similar Business Development or Sales role.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition frameworks and stakeholder selling.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to perform sales functions remotely from a home-based environment.
- Creative thinker with a strong customer-centric approach.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a matrix environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
