Job Description:The opportunity
The role of HR Senior Associate within the HR Services team is to provide a wide range of employee lifecycle activities supporting over 4,000 employees across the Republic of Ireland firm (UKI and FSO). The team currently has a staff compliment of 10.
Your key responsibilities
- Processing contractual changes for employees including changes to contract (hours, level, salary and benefits), contract extensions, transfers/secondments
- Delivering excellent service in line with HR processes and ensuring service level agreements are achieved
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of current EY policy and processes and employment legislation
- Proposing improvements to procedures, documentation and templates
- Managing various HR processes for the firm (e.g., annual leave, leave of absences, and changes to terms and conditions of employment)
- Managing the firm's right to work and absence management processes
- Handling ad-hoc HR projects as they arise
- Preparing reports for management to summarise data and show trends
- Developing HR solutions by collecting and analysing information, recommending courses of action
- Considering requests in accordance with the firm's policies and redirecting inappropriate requests or obtaining sanction for non-standard solutions
- Supporting monthly payroll checking, sending payroll instructions to providers, and advising employees on payroll-related queries
- liaising with onboarding & recruitment teams in processing contractual payments via payroll (referrals, relocations, bonuses)
- Conducting monthly payroll audits
- Providing support with the firm's myReward portal and benefits administration, including healthcare
- Managing HRS processing ISQM controls
- High attention to detail
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

- Ability to manage own workload amidst changing priorities
- A team player
- Bachelor's degree preferred with a strong academic record
- Minimum of 3 years' administration experience within a human resources environment
- Good working knowledge of operational HR systems, preferably SuccessFactors
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Knowledge of working with an external payroll provider
