Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Automation Test Engineer for professional growth. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, working with cutting-edge technologies on innovative projects.

Responsibilities
  1. Define testing strategies in collaboration with diverse teams for challenging projects.
  2. Develop and execute detailed test plans combining automation and manual testing.
  3. Triage integration issues, replicate problems, and identify root causes.
  4. Escalate potential issues to the Project Manager/Executive team.
  5. Track testing activities with clear stakeholder alignment.
  6. Identify improvements in test coverage and methodology, offering suggestions.
  7. Act as the gatekeeper for releases, representing customer interests and providing feedback.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (MS preferred) in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in embedded software within data centers, networking, security, cloud services, or automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in test methodologies and system-level testing of physical devices.
  • Familiarity with Linux command line, shell scripting, and Python coding.
  • Experience with QA for cloud platforms on private and public infrastructures.
  • Experience with API testing and automation scripting (e.g., Python).
  • Experience building and maintaining test automation for SDKs.
  • Knowledge of C++ is a plus.
  • Ability to review and challenge product requirements and specifications.
  • Skill in developing and modifying Python scripts to enhance testing.
  • Experience designing and implementing test automation tools.
  • Familiarity with test frameworks like PyTest, Behave, or similar.
  • Experience with E2E testing of cloud-controlled embedded products.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jama, Testrail, JIRA, Jenkins.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
