Overview

Ergo are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Wintel Engineer for our client based in Longford for a 2-year contract. This is a hybrid role with one day onsite and 4 days working remote. Ideally you should have your own car as they may need some flexibility to travel to other sites within the locality.

Role & Responsibilities
  • The configuration, optimisation and support of a large Microsoft Server environment across various geographical locations
  • The configuration and support of various Virtual Server environments
  • The implementation and support of Microsoft Operating Systems and Deployment technologies
  • The configuration, implementation and support of E-mail environments including Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino
  • Citrix environment configuration, optimisation, and support
  • The configuration, support, and integration of CCTV Systems into the IT environment
  • Storage environment configuration and optimisation
  • The configuration and support of third-party software into the client environment
  • The configuration and support of various applications so that they are inter-operable with the client environment
  • The planning and integrations of Backup solutions in the client environment
Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required
  • Industry Standard IT Certification
  • Active Directory, Active Directory Federated Services, Configure and Manage Certificate Servers, Enterprise Microsoft SQL environments and SQL Clusters, PowerShell Automation / Scripts and File Servers & File Services
  • Microsoft Hyper-V 2016, 2019, VMware - Vcenter 7 / 8, VMware - Esxi 7 / 8, VMware Log Insights, VMware Operations Manager, VMware SRM, VMware Vrealise and Citrix Hypervisor 8.0, 8.2
  • MECM - Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft Server Operating Systems i.e., 2008 r2, 2012, 2012 r2, 2016, 2019, Microsoft Client Operating Systems i.e., Windows 10, Windows System Image Manager, Microsoft .WIM Files, InstallShield Admin Studio, or MSI packaging applications and Automated Application Deployment (GPO/MECM)
  • Microsoft Exchange 2013, 2016 On Premise, SMTP services Exchange 2013 (Send, Receive Connectors and Edge Servers), TrendMicro ScanMail AV for Exchange, Office 365 / One-Drive, Commvault Mail Archiving, Lotus Notes Database Environment, Domino Server & Domino Designer and Lotus Notes Client
  • Citrix Xendesktop/XenApp 7.15 up to CVAD 2112 Storefront configuration, director configuration, and image creation, Citrix Policies, Citrix PVS, Citrix MCS, Citrix NetScaler = Citrix ADC, Citrix Sharefile, Citrix Licensing, Ivanti Application Control and Performance Manager & Safenet Two Factor Authentication
