Maintenance Assistant - Dublin based (part-time)

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Maintenance Assistant to join our team. In this position, the role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep to maintain a safe and functional environment.

Skills, Requirements and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the maintenance of our properties, compiling standard specifications and procedures for each item.
  • Responsible for specifying and purchasing the most suitable material to execute the maintenance.
  • Attend, schedule, and facilitate internal meetings to help establish priorities and assign tasks.
  • Examine customers' appliances and identify the cause of appliance breakdowns.
  • Provide rough estimates to customers on repair costs for damaged or malfunctioning appliances.
  • Repair or replace defective or damaged appliance components upon customer approval.
  • Advise customers on proper appliance usage.
  • Use various hand tools effectively.
  • Perform painting tasks, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing to maintain aesthetics and protection of walls, furniture, and outdoor areas.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Possess effective communication skills.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
