Position Overview:

This supervisory role is within the Private Equity and Alternative Fund Administration unit of SEI. The successful candidate will work closely with team members to expand the Private Equity business and will be the primary contact for several Private Equity and Alternative clients, interacting with professionals at all levels both internally and externally. Candidates should have a solid understanding of Private Equity / Alternative structures and related investment types.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main daily operational contact for multiple PE clients.
  • Develop relationships with clients' investment professionals, investors, lawyers, auditors, and banking personnel.
  • Supervise staff accountants regarding systems, processes, and responsibilities.
  • Train, coach, and mentor new employees; develop and motivate team members.
  • Provide performance feedback and conduct appraisals.
  • Review and approve work by fund accountants/analysts.
  • Prepare quarterly management accounts and investor capital statements.
  • Review or prepare capital call and distribution notices, waterfall calculations, and coordinate annual audits.
  • Resolve problems, errors, and queries promptly with documentation.
  • Ensure timely delivery of reports and adherence to procedures and deadlines.
  • Contribute to operational improvements and maintain good client relationships.
  • Assist in developing departmental procedures and ensure health and safety standards.
  • Participate in projects and ad hoc tasks as needed.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in fund administration, with at least 2 in Private Equity.
  • Preferably ACCA qualified.
  • Experience with Private Equity accounting systems, especially Investran.
  • Strong knowledge of Private Equity structures, regulations, and waterfall calculations.
  • Experience reviewing LPAs and OM's.
  • Supervisory, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Degree in Finance or related field preferred.
