We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing to join this growing independent hotel group in Dublin. This senior commercial role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, boosting brand presence, and maximising occupancy and profitability across multiple properties.

The Role:

You will lead a small sales and events team, working closely with hotel management and commercial colleagues to align strategies and deliver strong results across rooms, corporate, leisure and MICE business. This is a proactive, client-facing position requiring strong relationship-building, negotiation skills, and a proven ability to win new business while maximising existing accounts.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for rooms, meetings and events
  • Drive new corporate, group and leisure business locally and internationally
  • Manage key accounts, negotiate rates and oversee RFP processes
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales goals
  • Monitor KPIs, market trends and competitor activity
  • Represent the group at trade shows, networking events and industry forums
  • Maintain and leverage CRM and client databases to grow repeat business

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as Senior Sales or Business Development Manager in quality hotel properties, group experience a strong advantage
  • Proven track record in new business generation and account management
  • Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills
  • Commercial mind-set with excellent organisational ability
