Then come and join our global team as Inventory Control Manager, Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics at our facility in Swords, Dublin.
- Lead the inventory control team and ensure all operational activities are on track (cycle counting, COGI reconciliation, physical material storage setup, Control Audits).
- Drive the inventory control program across the site for over 7,000 SKUs, ensuring stakeholder support and compliance for accuracy.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues affecting inventory inaccuracy and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Support the Logistics Manager with analytics to improve logistics efficiency (inventory accuracy, storage utilization, cycle times).
- Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction projects across the supply chain.
- Work with IT to leverage current systems (SAP, scanning) and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with external 3PL to optimize accuracy levels and support inventory to line feed.
- Analyze reports to identify trends and reduce discrepancies.
- Oversee inventory integrity and updates through IT systems.
- Organize stock take activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, Engineering, or related discipline (QQI level 8).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Logistics or planning, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills with ERP systems (preferably SAP) for process improvement and decision making.
- Experience in leading teams and driving continuous improvement using data.
- Experience in related fields like production, procurement, or planning is an advantage.
- Team player with strong stakeholder relationship skills.
- Planning and analytical skills for data-driven decisions.
- Pragmatic LEAN approach to continuous improvement.
- Good knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems, especially WM/IM/SFC modules.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-directed, goal-oriented, and able to prioritize.
