Please note we do not provide visas for this role. We do not have a role for overseas applicants at the moment. You must have the right to work in Ireland and provide a valid visa to be considered for this role.

Required Competencies and Training:

  1. Compassion, patience, and empathy
  2. Dependable and attentive, with a strong commitment to providing high levels of care
  3. Great communicator – with clients and support team
  4. Ability to work alone, use initiative, and be mindful of health and safety and other organisational policies at all times
  5. Related experience providing care is desirable
  6. 2 QQI level 5 Healthcare modules – Care Skills and Care of the Elderly is a requirement
  7. Up to date patient moving & handling certificate (or training provided)
  8. International Police Clearance (where applicable)

Job Spec Summary:

  1. Assisting with both personal and practical care
  2. Facilitating independence and social involvement
  3. Ensuring dignity, privacy, and independence is maintained and respected
  4. Reporting any issues to your manager
