Overview

Senior Finance Analyst role at Sky. What You'll Do
  • Build and own strong relationships with the management team for your business area; deliver analysis, reporting, insight and financial guidance. You will often be the most senior finance person in the room.
  • Lead financial activities for key deliverables, including budget, long-range plan and monthly results.
  • Prepare management reporting and insight.
  • Prepare accounting analysis and advice for commercial deals or corporate transactions.
  • Provide a commercial lens to insight (outside in), translating into operational and financial performance.
  • Build strong relationships across the finance team and wider Sky business.
  • Mentor and coach team members below SFA level, contributing to delivery through them as well as your own work.
  • Act as an ambassador for Sky Finance, both with the business and externally.
What You'll Bring
  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CPA qualification (or equivalent).
  • 2 to 3 years Post Qualification Experience.
  • A track record of delivery and ambition, with a desire to develop further.
  • Experience in a finance role for a large, complex organisation (industry or practice) with:
    • Keen commercial acumen for complex problems.
    • Ability to work at pace in an agile, fast-moving environment.
    • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to provide clarity to guide decision making.
    • Strong attention to detail and deep knowledge of the numbers you own.
    • Ability to maintain a strong financial control environment.
  • Strong analytical skills (Microsoft Excel) with experience in preparing analysis, delivering insight, and turning it into recommendations.
  • Good communication skills through business partnering or client relationship management.
