U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with demonstrated competence and thought leadership to contribute to our technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and support security solutions to protect systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, destruction, modification, or disruption.
  • Deliver security tools that meet high standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on security projects.
  • Establish security design guidelines, frameworks, and models.
  • Identify new security issues and develop mitigation plans.
  • Define security objectives.
  • Train and mentor team members.
  • Build relationships and trust across the organization.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging security products and technologies.
  • Develop and interpret security policies and procedures.
  • Lead the deployment and maintenance of enterprise security controls.
  • Proactively mitigate risks and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
  • Support applications for the Boundary team to protect the bank from cybersecurity threats.

Experience

  • 6+ years in Network Security / Cyber Security.

Nice to have

  • Web proxy support (training on Akamai available).

The ideal candidate should be a strong troubleshooter of the network stack and collaborate closely with application teams and clients.

Location

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule with in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week, with the option to work remotely on other days, at one of the specified locations.
