Job Overview

As a Delivery Driver for LKQ Euro Car Parts, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards, working as part of a highly effective team, and delivering excellent customer service at every opportunity. Reporting to the Driver Controller, your role will focus on ensuring the delivery of our customer promise each time. Our delivery drivers are essential in developing and driving high branch performance and operational standards aligned with the organisation's strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Organise deliveries promptly and maintain records as required.
  2. Maintain good customer relations by being courteous and helpful, reporting any issues with goods or services.
  3. Generate additional sales during deliveries using marketing and promotional information.
  4. Provide marketing intelligence regarding competitor activity and business opportunities.
  5. Drive the delivery vehicle carefully, adhering to Road Traffic Act and company procedures, and report any license issues.
  6. Keep the vehicle clean, conduct daily checks, and report damages.
  7. Follow procedures for accidents and insurance claims, reporting incidents promptly.
  8. Securely collect payments for cash on delivery invoices, ensuring accuracy.
  9. Prioritize health and safety for yourself and others.
  10. Notify the Manager of vehicle defects and upcoming maintenance.
  11. Assist with maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
  12. Support warehouse duties, including stock management and audits.
  13. Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by the Manager.
Skills and Experience
  1. Clean Full Irish Driving Licence.
  2. Excellent communication skills to build customer relationships.
  3. High focus, energy, and motivation.
  4. Good business acumen.
  5. Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
