Réalta Technologies are searching for an MES Project Manager to support a Pharmaceutical client of ours based in Cork.

The successful candidate will lead an individual major capital project at the Cork Site and provide project management leadership to local MES/eBR project on site and in the Supply Chain that have synergies and benefits.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle implementation of Korber PAS-X MES, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, validation, and go-live.
  • Establish robust project governance frameworks, project charters, and steering committee reporting structures.
  • Execute basic design for MES/eBR along with IT PM to ensure design meets business requirements in delivering paper less shopfloor with electronic batch record.
  • This role acts as business PM holding full accountability to deliver the project on time, budget and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with GxP and CSV requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate and drive the work to ensure project teams are delivering the project in respective timelines.
  • Ensure long lead items are identified and orders placed to ensure on-time project delivery
  • Confirm shutdown requirements with business for project deployment
  • Develop clear business case delivery rationale document
  • Provide regular and timely communication to various stakeholders
  • Ensure change management needs are identified and included in execution scope
  • Set-Up & Lead Monthly Project Steerco at site level.
  • Provide monthly Project dashboard to site CAPEX Leader
  • Work with site quality to ensure all aspects of quality are considered during the basic design phase.

Job Requirements
  • 10-15 years industry experience, with at least 5 years of experience in MES project management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets exceeding €5M and multi-phase delivery schedules.
  • Background in pharmaceutical environments with strong knowledge of GMP, manufacturing operations, and electronic batch records (EBR).
  • Track record in delivering projects with hybrid delivery approaches in regulated environments.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Proficient in project planning tools (MS Project).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiar with system integration between MES and ERP (e.g., SAP), LIMS, SCADA/DCS, WMS, etc.
