We are currently recruiting for an accounting technician to join the finance team on a full-time basis for a permanent opportunity.

Duties within the role include:

  • Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts to include detailed P&L, cash flow and balance sheet.
  • Preparation of detailed month/week end revenue analysis reports and ad hoc revenue analysis reports and ad hoc analysis as required
  • Assist the financial accountant in preparing the annual budget to include detailed P&L analysis, cash flow and balance sheet.
  • Involvement in management and analysis of capex projects as required.
  • Produce reports on detailed KPI’s to support Hospital managers with effective and cost efficient running of departments.
  • Assist finance managers in identifying and implementing process improvements.

Candidate requirements:

  • Fully qualified accounting technician (IATI) / part-qualified accountant
  • Minimum of two years experience within the finance department of a service / industry organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel
  • Crystal, or other business report writing experience preferable
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task on key projects as required
