Overview We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Sustainability Consultancy Team. The successful person will work on innovative, challenging projects with industry experts as part of PM Group's world-leading multi-discipline team. We are currently expanding our Environment & Sustainability team and are looking to hire an experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to enhance the growing team. Responsibilities We are very interested in hearing from all candidates who have the following experience: Manage sustainability projects from concept to handover stage Advise on NZEB, Low/Net Zero Carbon/Energy Building design strategies Undertake building energy management assessment; prepare decarbonisation optioneering studies & Net-Zero roadmap plans Innovating and assessing design solutions at the earliest stage of the design process with a keen eye on decarbonisation, low energy, renewable techniques and sustainable alternative fuels Understand and apply current and proposed Sustainability related legislation (Building and Planning regulations) Develop and manage client relationships (Internally and Externally) Prepare technical reports Other team services include Climate risk assessment, Building life-cycle assessments; Building physics simulation modelling; Green Building Rating certification (e.g. LEED; BREEAM etc), Sustainability master planning & Environmental Planning, Impact Assessments & Regulatory Permitting. Candidates should also note any relevant experience & knowledge of these services. Qualifications A Minimum Qualification of Bachelor's Degree (Level 8 NQF) in Engineering (Energy Engineering, Building Services, etc) or Environmental/Sustainability engineering. At least 5 years experience as a sustainability/energy consultant or related position Excellent knowledge of sustainable design practices and international experience desirable A proven history of innovative approaches to low-energy design and/or management excellence Project management skills Clear and confident verbal & written communication skills Proven track record of working on your own initiative Why PM Group?
