Role Location: Carrickmines 360 Health Centre - Full or Part Time A 12-month fixed term contract (maternity leave cover) has arisen within Vhi, working as a Senior Speech and Language Therapist on the paedaitrics team. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will have access to many internal specialist services within Vhi. We at Vhi pride ourselves in the provision of excellent patient care. Ideally we are looking for someone to work full time, but we are open to you working part time / 17.5 hours per week. Benefits: Excellent company pension Comprehensive healthcare cover for you and your family Income protection Life insurance Performance related bonus Employee assistance programme ( EAP ) Role Purpose Managing a caseload providing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment programmes for service users according to service & professional standards; Provide individual and group interventions which will include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment programmes tailoring interventions for specific ages and or/presenting difficulties. Working in collaboration with families, children and the other members of the team in the planning and delivery of services for children. Develop and implement service / business plans, quality initiatives, audits etc. and report on outcomes in collaboration with the local management team. Actively participate as a member of the MDT in team building and change management initiatives. Education & Experience A registration as a Speech and language Therapist by the SLT Registration Board at CORU. Three years full time (or an aggregate of three years) post qualification clinical experience in a setting working with children.
